1. Who we are

Stellar Health is operated by [REGISTERED COMPANY NAME], registration number [REGISTRATION NUMBER], of 26 Ross Road, Wynberg, South Africa ("Stellar Health", "we", "us").

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, browsing the storefront, or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you're setting up a store, the seller-specific obligations in section 8 also apply to you.

3. The marketplace model

Stellar Health is a marketplace: independent sellers list and fulfil their own products into one shared catalogue, and shoppers can buy from several sellers in a single cart. Each seller is named on their product listing and is the merchant of record for that item — Stellar Health facilitates the transaction and holds payment in escrow, but does not itself sell or ship the goods.

4. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login details secure. You must be able to form a binding contract under South African law to buy or sell on Stellar Health.

5. Orders, pricing & payment

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely through Paystack; card details are tokenised and never stored by Stellar Health directly. An order is only confirmed once payment succeeds.

6. Delivery, returns & the cooling-off period

Delivery timelines, the statutory cooling-off period, and how to request a return or refund are set out in full in our Returns & Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Escrow & payouts

Stellar Health holds the funds and releases each seller's share 7 days after delivery, once your cooling-off period under the ECT Act has closed. This protects buyers by ensuring a seller is only paid once a purchase is genuinely complete.

8. Seller obligations

Sellers must list products accurately, hold valid stock for what they list, fulfil orders promptly, and comply with all applicable South African consumer, health, and product-safety law. Commission is charged per sale at the rate shown on Seller Fees and is deducted before payout.

9. Prohibited conduct

• Listing counterfeit, stolen, or unsafe goods
• Manipulating reviews, ratings, or search ranking
• Circumventing the marketplace to transact outside the platform
• Attempting to access another user's account or data

10. Intellectual property

The Stellar Health name, logo, and site design are our property. Product content (photos, descriptions) remains the property of the seller who uploaded it, who represents that they have the right to use it.

11. Limitation of liability

Stellar Health is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed by sellers, except to the extent required by the Consumer Protection Act. Our liability for platform errors is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order, except where South African law does not permit such a limit.

12. Dispute resolution

Most order disputes are resolved through the returns and dispute process in your account. Unresolved disputes are governed by South African law and the jurisdiction of South African courts.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
